Parish Auditor, Diocese of Raleigh. We are seeking an individual who will perform parish operational reviews on parishes and schools for compliance with diocesan financial policies and procedures; provide formal reports following audit with appropriate recommendations; provide analysis of parish and school financial data quarterly and annually and conduct workshops for parishes and schools. Director of Stewardship and Institutional Advancement. The Diocese of Raleigh is growing at a rapid pace. We are seeking an individual to provide overall stewardship and fund development; conduct the Bishop’s annual appeal; educate parishioners and donors on the needs of the Diocese; and develop new time, talent and financial resources to meet present and future needs of the Diocese, its parishes, missions and schools. The Director will also lead a major gifts effort through the identification and cultivation of major gift prospects.

A candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum five years experience as a stewardship and development professional with demonstrated success in fundraising, planned giving, annual appeals, major gift solicitation and implementation of stewardship efforts. Director of the Office of Worship for the Diocese of Raleigh. The Diocese of Raleigh, comprising the 54 eastern-most counties of North Carolina with a rapidly growing and culturally diverse population in 76 parishes and 19 missions, chapels, and stations, is seeking a full-time director for its Office of Worship to assist Bishop Michael F. Burbidge in his role as the principle liturgist of the Diocese. The Director serves as a resource on liturgical matters to the Bishop and to the parishes of the Diocese. The Director is responsible for coordinating all episcopal and diocesan liturgies, recommends particular norms and praxis in keeping with the universal liturgical norms of the Church, and is able to conduct liturgical formation on the diocesan and parish levels in appropriate collaboration with diocesan offices.

The successful candidate is a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with a true love for God, His Church, and the Sacred Liturgy. Candidates should have a master’s degree or equivalent in liturgy or liturgical theology, have significant experience in planning and coordinating liturgies, have an understanding of Spanish and Hispanic liturgical customs or a willingness to learn, and have strong leadership and communication skills. Assistant to the Director of Elementary Faith Development. St. Thomas More is looking for a new member of the Faith Development team to assist the Director of Elementary Faith Development in developing and implementing the Elementary Faith Development program. This person will have particular responsibility for curriculum support and development, especially finding or preparing age-appropriate catechetical materials. The Assistant will participate in the set-up, delivery and closure of the Sunday morning Faith Development sessions, and in the Sacramental Preparation, RCIA adapted for Children and Vacation Bible School programs, and the recruitment, training, and support of Elementary Catechists. Holy Redeemer by the Sea Parish on the Outer Banks of North Carolina seek a Pastoral Associate to coordinate the Parish Youth program and a variety of liturgical and pastoral ministries for the Latino Community. A master's in theology or pastoral ministry is desired, plus previous ministry experience.
